Northside Lions

Texas- United States | District 2-A2

Wherever there is need in the community, Lions are there.

We Serve.

Since 1957, the Northside Lions have been steadfast in meeting the commitment of all Lions adhering to the motto “WE SERVE”.

Community
Outreach

Community outreach is how we serve. Through service projects, partnerships, and volunteer engagement, our Lions club addresses real community needs—from hunger and vision loss to health awareness and environmental care. We're committed to being visible, trusted partners in our community, working together to create meaningful change.

Core
Services

Core service comes through the Texas Lions Camp, provided at no cost to physically disabled and diabetic children, as well as the Lions Sight Research Center, The Lions Low Vision Center and its Mobile Eye Screening Unit, all established in collaboration with the UT Health Science Center, and numerous other Lions District 2-A2 programs.

Partnerships

The Northside Lions Club directly supports many individual children and families in need and acts as a mini “united way”, working hand-in-hand with agencies and other non-profit organizations including: Child Guidance Center, Seton Home, St Vincent de Paul, SAMM Ministries, Any Baby Can, Respite Care, USO, Special Olympics, Wesley Community Center, Morgan’s Wonderland, CROP Walk, and many others, with 100% of all funds raised being donated to charitable organizations.

Lions are there.

Wherever there is need in the community, Lions are there. Lions Clubs are located in 205 countries around the world and are first on the scene whenever disaster strikes. Working through the Lions Clubs International Foundation, all Lions are able to lend immediate support to those communities where an earthquake, flood, or tornado has occurred, by funneling that support through their Lion brothers and sisters who live in those communities.
